Fort Lauderdale Collection is proud to present this Fiat 500 JollyThe original Jolly was an open-air "spiaggina" built by the Italian design house Ghia based on the Fiat 500 during the 1950's and 60's. Small enough to be stored on the decks of yachts, they were a favorite of the international jet set. Owners included Grace Kelly, Aristotle Onasis and even President Lyndon B Johnson. Only a few hundred of the originals were ever made, and less than 100 examples are believed to survive today. They command very high prices at auction.
This modern conversion of the famous beach car is built in Italy from original Fiat 500's to match the original Jollys built by Ghia. They include wicker seats, cut-down sides, side rails and a fringed surrey top.
This example is extra sharp in Tiffany with a Tiffany and White-striped top, white side rails and, of course, those signature wicker seats. It's powered by a Fiat 110F 2-cylinder 500cc motor with a 4-speed manual transmission, and is fully street legal with a maximum speed of 50 mph. It was built from a 1969 Fiat 500, chassis number 2215804. This vehicle has been completely rebuilt from the ground up, and has only been driven for transport purposes.
