This Italian exotic hard-top convertible brings F1 racing and technology performance to the road.Revised for 2015, the 2nd Generation California is sleeker, more refined and FASTER than the previous model, powered by a 3.9 liter Twin Turbo V8 rated at 553 hp and 557 lb-ft of torque. That's 70 more horses and a whopping 185 more lb-ft than the previous motor - and its very noticeable. (0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds). Ferrari has also given the car quicker steering, stiffer springs, and an improved weight bias. The result is a car that handles better than before AND has better ride quality.
The exterior redesign by Pininfarina makes the car appear lower and wider, so it even looks faster than before (while keeping the same overall dimensions and retractable hard top). The interior has also been refined, and the entertainment / navigation system is much improved.
